Watch this 10 min web chat, in which two young, indigenous men discuss their different experiences across the country with the growing Idle No More Movement. Caleb Behn, an Eh-Cho Dene and Dunne Za/Cree law student from Fort Nelson and West Moberly First Nations, and Eugene Boulanger, Sahtugotine Dene communications consultant and community organizer from Tulita and Somba K'e, Denendeh (aka Yellowknife), speak with Hilary Henegar, digital strategist for the film and transmedia project Fractured Land in Coast Salish Territory (aka Vancouver). Behn is the subject of Fractured Land, which you can learn more about and support here.

This is an interesting insight, I would have enjoyed more discussion a it was just getting interesting.

FIPA is at the very heart of Idle No More, and given the effort this site has put towards fighting that trade treaty, it would be interesting to hear the views of these gentleman on that aspect.

While the Idle no More campaign has given rise to a great deal of traditional rhetoric while shining the light on the need for action, there has been very little discussion about what actually drives this.

The Chiefs from Ontarion wrote a FIPA specific letter, with a great deal of detail near the begining of the Idle no more effort. Some news strories have made mention of FIPA as well alongside concerns with respect to the Omnubus bill.

I think the movement would do itself well by communicating the core concerns as clearly FIPA is far and away the primary driver.
