Watch this presentation by Damien Gillis, co-director of the documentary in production Fractured Land, at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. In it Gillis discusses the making of the film and the interconnected web of hydrocarbon projects in BC and Alberta designed to deliver coal, oil and gas to new markets in Asia - which he and his colleagues describe as "Canada's Carbon Corridor". Watch the full presentation or a 5 min highlight clip focusing on natural gas "fracking" in northeast BC. I'm in support of this documentary film that is opening the eyes to first nation people in northern bc n the destruction that is happening right in our backyard n having a detrimental effect on our way of living n basically destroying our traditional territory, which will leave our future generations in disarray n this is not what I want for my grandchildren!
